HivemindOS manual
Socials
Socials is where agents draft posts for your social accounts and you decide what goes out. It supports X, Telegram, Farcaster, LinkedIn, and Reddit. Facebook can be connected for browser-session workflows, but not for dashboard posts.
Each account has its own voice, awake hours, sources, queue, history, and analytics.
Connect an account
- Open Socials and choose Connect account.
- Pick the platform and how to connect: managed Sign in with X, your own X credentials, a Telegram bot, a Neynar Farcaster signer, LinkedIn sign-in, a Reddit script app, or a managed Facebook browser profile.
- In Set up @handle, make three choices:
- What it posts about. Add a website or GitHub repo. An X account that already posts can skip this; its own posts count.
- How it sounds. Learn the voice from the account’s posts, reuse a voice you have, or pick Clear and simple.
- How it posts. Autopilot with a directive, or Review first, and how many posts a day.
- Choose Start. The first drafts are written right away.
An account with nothing to write about waits instead of failing. The drafting card says Waiting for something to write about until you add a source.
Your accounts, drafts, approvals, and schedule are stored in your shared brain, so every device shows the same queue. Only one device publishes at a time, and the Scheduled tab names it. Send now works from any device.
Drafts from your agent
Drafting is on for new accounts. By default the agent writes three posts once a day from your sources. You can change this to one to five drafts every six hours, twelve hours, one day, two days, or one week. Generate full pack writes a batch now.
The agent only writes from your sources: websites, GitHub repos, local files, or folders. Source content is treated as reference material, never as instructions. Repeats of earlier posts are dropped, and generation pauses once twenty generated drafts are waiting.
Comment finder for X
X accounts also get Comment finder. Each pack adds three reply suggestions to public posts from the past two days. You can choose zero to five replies and set freshness from twelve hours to one week. Under More options you can also turn on zero to two quote posts, which are off by default because they appear on your profile. Find replies now runs a search right away.
Each suggestion shows the original post beside your draft, with an Open target link. Replies and quotes always wait for your review, even in auto mode, and Send now asks you to confirm. Comment finder never likes, reposts, replies, or posts on its own.
Comment finder uses a local X browser session through Agent Reach, so it doesn’t use managed-X read credits. For several X accounts, choose Per-account credentials on each account’s Agent Reach X session card and save that account’s auth_token and ct0 cookies in Shared Hive Env. If the session belongs to a different handle, the search stops and says so.
Review, schedule, and publish
- Saving a draft in the composer doesn’t approve it.
- Send now asks you to confirm, then publishes.
- Schedule publishes after the chosen time, within the account’s awake hours.
- Pause posting on the Scheduled tab stops delivery without deleting anything. Send due posts now sends anything already due.
Finished, failed, and canceled posts move to History. Analytics shows results and engagement the platform provides.
If the connection drops mid-send, the post is marked Delivery unknown and is not resent automatically. Check the account first, then retry. This prevents duplicate public posts.
Manual and auto modes
Accounts start in manual mode: nothing publishes until you approve or schedule it.
Auto mode is an opt-in per account. Automated posts get a five-minute window to cancel, respect awake hours, and go out spaced apart. Turning auto mode off sends pending automated posts back to review. Replies and quotes always need your review.
An account can also post for one of your companies. Choose it on the company’s page under Where it posts: the company’s finished videos and images then go to that account. They post on their own only when the account is in auto mode and the company is allowed to post without asking; otherwise they wait in Review like any other suggestion, and on the company’s own Approvals tab. While an account posts for a company, auto mode covers only that company’s finished videos and images: anything else on it waits for your review. Linking or unlinking an account turns its auto mode off until you turn it on again. Each platform holds one account per company. Only you can turn on auto mode, link an account to a company, change an account’s connection, or approve and send posts.
Autopilot for X
Autopilot runs an X account toward a goal you write, such as “Grow among remote teams and share every release as it ships.” It runs on hivemindos.app, so it keeps posting while your computer is off. Open the Autopilot tab, write the directive, and turn it on. This opts the account into auto mode, so you’re asked to confirm.
Each run, Autopilot:
- Reads your results. Topics that beat your usual post by a quarter or more over at least two posts get more attention. Topics that fall a quarter or more behind, or whose posts you canceled twice, get less.
- Looks for news in your GitHub repos, websites, and followed X accounts, skipping chores like dependency bumps.
- Checks the news is worth posting by looking for real engagement on similar posts.
- Follows trends only when they fit your directive.
- Avoids repeats. If that check can’t run, posts wait in Review.
Posts go out at least two hours apart, each with a five-minute cancel window, within your awake hours. Replies still wait for you. Turning Autopilot off, or switching to manual, sends scheduled posts back to Review. Reading X and posting use your credits, and the account’s Daily X reads limit applies.
Platform limits
- X: managed reads and posting are paid from the same HivemindOS balance as HivemindOS Models. Your own X credentials call the X API directly. X may reject replies or quotes to accounts that didn’t mention you, depending on your app’s access level.
- Telegram: member counts are available, but not per-message views.
- Farcaster: publishing uses your Neynar signer.
- LinkedIn: posting requires your developer app to have
w_member_socialapproval. Metrics cover only your own posts. - Reddit: self posts and comment replies; each community’s rules and rate limits apply.
- Media: posts are text only for now. A post with media fails with a clear message instead of dropping attachments.
Credentials stay in Shared Env or, for managed services, on HivemindOS servers. Pricing and credits are enforced by HivemindOS servers, not the app.
