Hivemind Database

Hivemind Database is a shared place for your hive’s structured records. Keep it on your own device at no extra charge, or use a managed database included with an active Plus, Pro, or Max subscription.

Both options work the same way for agents, and you can copy a workspace between them in either direction at any time.

Keep it on this device

  1. Open More → Integrations → Connections → Hivemind Database.
  2. Choose Set up on this device.

HivemindOS checks the local service, creates a private owner account, and keeps the database available only on that device. If something is missing, the setup screen tells you and lets you fix it in place. Stopping the service keeps your records.

Use the managed database

Choose Create managed database while signed in with an active Plus, Pro, or Max subscription. It is included with the subscription and is not billed as an extra per-user seat.

You get one private workspace with plan-based limits on records, tables, storage, monthly operations, and transfers. The setup screen shows your current usage.

Copy between local and managed

When both are ready, the setup screen shows Move a copy:

  • Copy to managed copies a local workspace into your managed workspace.
  • Copy to this device copies your managed workspace into a new local workspace.

The source is never removed. Each copy is checked for size and checksum before it finishes. If it fails, only the incomplete destination is cleaned up, and you can retry. Check the copy before you delete an older one yourself.

Copies include tables, fields, relationships, views, records, files, and workspace applications. Workspace members, access rules, custom domains, external callbacks, and personal settings are not moved and must be set again at the destination.

What agents can do

Agents can list workspaces, databases, tables, fields, and a limited number of records. With task authority, they can create databases, tables, fields, and records, and update or delete single records.

Every change needs the exact confirmation HivemindOS shows. Repeating an approved request does not repeat the change.

Disconnect

Disconnecting stops agents from using the database. It does not delete workspaces or records. Deleting local data or a managed workspace is a separate action and is never part of a copy.
